Elton John fans that his New York Tribeca Film Festival premiere of his documentary to capture the Union were unable to make good news.Film will premiere on HBO in January, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
As previously reported, The Union, directed by Cameron Crowe, documents the making of Elton most recent album of the same name, his musical hero's cooperation with Leon Russell.
In a statement, Elton said, "I'm a great fan of HBO, and their extraordinary programming, so I'm particularly thrilled that they will be airing The Union."
