Billy Joel to make comeback on Elton's show


Because of double hip replacement surgery Billy Joel was on break and is ready to come back with Elton John onstage.

He gone through injury last year in November,the 61-year old had a quick recovery and is now preparing to make his live comeback for a special appearance at New York's Madison Square Garden, reported Contactmusic.

On 16 and 20 March the piano hitmaker is due to perform.

The two music legends, Joel and John, are frequent collaborators and had reunited in 2009 to tour the US with their highly successful show Face 2 Face.

Sir Elton John attend People's Choice Awards

According to US TV network CBS new dad Sir Elton John set to attend the People's Choice Awards.

Sir Elton 63 years old, he will attend the 37th annual ceremony tomorrow, which will be hosted by Queen Latifah and broadcast live from LA’s Nokia Theatre.

Other stars include Teri Hatcher, Zac Efron, Katy Perry, Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Swift, Natalie Portman and the Kardashian clan.

Disney star Selena Gomez is said to be performing on the night. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is reported to be leading the way with eight nominations, including Favourite Movie.

Friend's death inspired Elton to become a dad


After the astonish death of friend,Sir Elton John was inspired to become a father.

The singer recently celebrated the birth of son Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John on Christmas Day via a surrogate mother along with partner David Furnish.

Babylon's widow Kathy - mother of his three children - told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "Elton was there for us right away. He came to the house and said, 'What can I do? Can I help with anything?'

"He was really devastated, but he wanted above all to make sure we were okay. He was worried about me and the kids.

"He said nothing else in his life had really hit him like that. He told me then that Guy and our family had inspired him to start a family of his own."

Elton John success career

British musician Sir Elton John dream that "ever better" records in the future.

Elton John is one of the most popular recording artists and he is a successful career, he said, “My career's been so wonderful. It's had its ups and its downs, and periods of self-doubt like any creative artist, but at 63 years of age I hope I can now look forward to making other records that are as good if not better".

Elton working with American musician and songwriter Leon Russell are working together on his current album The Union (with Leon Russell). He said, “I'm proud of the decisions I made, which turned out to be the right decisions. And I'm very proud of this record. This is the icing on the cake. My career's been so wonderful".

Elton with Leon are admit to working together of his favourite works of his career and he can’t explain just about it that why he loves it so much.

Sir Elton John: Austin received $25,000 for his foundation


Musician Sir Elton John's philanthropic foundation gives gives to the Out Youth Austin organization at $25,000. The Elton John AIDS Foundation grant will help the group advocate fr HIV prevention, testing and counseling.

The Elton John AIDS Foundation is an international nonprofit that funds direct patient care services and AIDS prevention education. London based Red Hot Organization which extract follows donation another currently $25,000.

Candice Towe Executive Direction said, “This generous grant from the Elton John AIDS Foundation is a tremendous holiday present for Out Youth and the youth served by our organizatio”.

Geneva concert postponed by Elton John

Swiss fans has been apologized by English music legend Elton John,after postponing his December concert in Geneva until next year.

For December 19 at Geneva Arena,Elton John along with famed percussionist Ray Cooper was featuring the concert.

The show will now happen on 3 Feb and it has been postponed due to unexpected scheduling problems.

Two concerts in France next week have also been postponed.

The man behind hits including Your Song, Crocodile Rock, and I’m Still Standing will celebrate 40 years of touring next year.

Elton John to perform at Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding


Elton John recently indicates that he may be involved in the marriage festivities, after Prince William and Kate Middleton revealed about their engagement and wedding dates.

Elton says that he may be participating in the couple marriage even if it means that John has to set up his piano outside of Westminster Abbey said in an interview with BBC Radio 2.

When asked about his involvement in the Royal wedding of Prince William and Kate, Elton John revealed that he would "probably" be involved, jokingly saying, "I'll probably be outside busking."

Since the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton is still in the planning stages, Elton John told BBC Radio 2's Steve Wright that there's still time to work out the details but his possible involvement in the wedding won’t be the focus of his guest-editing gig at the British newspaper, The Independent. "I think we've had enough of that for the time being."

Sir Elton John to perform in Isle of Man


It has been confirmed that Sir Elton John will first time ever going to perform in Isle of Man

On 16th June,in Nobles Park, Douglas, he will going to appear solo only with his piano to perform in front of all fans.

Promoters Marshall Arts said,It is one of a handful of dates the star is due to perform in the UK next summer and the only performance without his band.

"I have never played in the Isle of Man before, so I'm looking forward to the concert on June.Every year I play concerts all over the world, often in the most extraordinary and exotic places.I never tire of playing... in the summer (it) is always a special joy." said Sir Elton John.

He will also perform in Cardiff, Glasgow, Shrewsbury, Northampton and Brighton.

Sir Elton John To Go Live Later This Month


Later this month Sir Elton John will be performing live at London concert. This will be an intimate concert at London's Union Chapel.

He will going to sing out the song from his latest album 'The Union', as well as his classic hits at the special show at the city's Union Chapel in Islington on 25 November.

Those who are looking for ticket show and want to see the grand singer playing solo with his large piano will only be available to competition winners through Absolute Radio, with their Breakfast Show DJ Christian O'Connell hosting the event.

Before it is broadcast in full on Boxing Day (26.12.10), it can be also viewed on the station through the week of 6 December

The 63-year-old star recently admitted he no longer feels he can write pop music and doesn't plan to release commercial singles any more.

He said: "I'm at that stage where I don't think I can write pop music anymore.

"I can't sit down and do a proper rock song. It was ok when I was 25 or 26, but not anymore. I like to do my little side-projects like Scissor Sisters and have fun, but I don't think Elton John will be putting any pop singles out."
